Club Progress
Trim GAA is at a pivotal point in its history. The club have progressed rapidly with their plans to develop the clubhouse and the surrounding pitches. As you can see if you've being around St Loman's Park lately, the diggers have moved in and begun construction on the new development. Here is a synopsis of our aims and achievements regarding the development so far.
Development Plan
We have begun to develop a 30,000 sq ft facility at a cost of approximately €5,500,000. The development will contain six dressing rooms, referees' changing rooms, meeting and secretarial facilities, a full bar, restaurant and kitchen facilities over two floors, as well as a state of the art sports hall which will account for approximately half of the total area of the building. The contract for development has been awarded to Quinn Construction from Carlow and it is expected that the sod will be turned by the end of February and it is a 10 to 12 month construction period. It is also proposed to realign the main pitch in front of the clubhouse to allow for the commencement of the proposed €10,000,000 swimming pool and leisure complex to be developed by Meath County Council on lands which we transferred to the Council for this purpose.
